Life Update

-We have been sick.  Ezra gave Dusty and I (and nanny Becca) the flu and we were down for the count on Saturday.  It was the worst.  We weren't able to care for Ezra so we called Dusty's parents and then picked him up and took care of him for the day. We are feeling much better now and are slowly getting our appetites back.

-We sold our house.  It was on the market for 4 days before we signed a full price offer.  The inspection is on Thursday and then the appraisal will be next week.  Hope everything goes through ok.

-We are having a house built. This is the plan that the house is based on but the builder redrew it to fit on our skinnier lot. The house will be just under 2100 sq ft and will be located in a newer (unfinished) subdivision about a mile from our current house.  Also, a local family gave the city 25M to build a 60 park right adjacent to the subdivision and will be just over the fence from us. (We won't have to hop a fence...there will be a walking path). The house will probably be finished around the end of May (fingers crossed).

-In the meantime, some very gracious family friends have offered their vacant/furnished home for us to live in while our house is being built.  It was such a generous/gracious/awesome offer that we couldn't refuse.  It's also 3 houses down from Sheri and Terry (Dusty's padres) so we will be living the Everybody Loves Raymond dream.

-Ezra is the cutest little boy.  We love him so much.  He has the sweetest little personality.  He's super active now.  He's always on the move and trying to get our remotes or cell phones. It was kinda nice when he wasn't feeling well because he would finally sit and cuddle with me instead of wiggling constantly.

-This is all subject to change.

How could that sweet, adorable little boy possibly have given you the flu!? I don't believe it.

And - your house looks AWESOME!!! Can't wait to see it for real. And I remember when we were looking for houses I really liked your builder. Wahoo!
