Labor Day Weekend in Boise

We headed to Boise for the weekend with my bro Erik and Krista for a wedding. The bride, Marla, went to SPU and Dusty's parents are also BFF's with her parents. Her parents were also the ones that threw me my Boise bridal shower. They are amazing people.



The wedding was outside at the Shakespeare Festival amphitheatre. It was an 11am wedding but was still very hot. Luckily we had seats in the shade. Famed SPU profs, the Dearborns, officiated the wedding. They did a wonderful job.

This is Marla's Mom with Dusty's parents.

This is Dusty's cousin Nate and his 21 week pregnant wife Amy. They are so much fun!

Later that evening, Marla's parents (along w/ Marla and Ryan) hosted a pool party for friends and family at their house. They have such an awesome backyard.




Things I didn't take pictures of this weekend: tubing and SeaDooing at the lake again, lunch with Danica, Rob and Carson and a kick butt game of Rook....go girls!

Our week in Boise

We were in Boise last week visiting Dusty's family. We had a blast! We went to the lake a bunch to SeaDo and Jetski, we played with the dogs, went shopping and saw a movie.

While we were there we decided to take a family pic since we are together only twice a year. Expect to see this on Christmas cards this year.

I had to share this pic of Conner. It's so cute. He loved hanging out at the lake. He built a tide pool with Uncle Dusty, found a lizard under a rock and enjoyed chasing the ducks.

Here's Con and I on the tube. Luckily Dusty was a good driver and no one fell off.

Sky was a fish this week. He was on the SeaDo more than any of us ! He even got to drive it all by himself (against mom's wishes).

We made s'mores in the backyard one evening.

Chloe broke her arm while riding the Razor scooter on Friday. She was such a trooper through all that pain.
