Not Fierce

Project Runway is switching channels and I'm not too happy. The show is leaving the Bravo network to join the old reruns of Designing Women on The Lifetime Channel. POR QUEEEEEE!

I hope this network switch does not change the awesomeness of the show.

Next on The Hills

Heidi & Spencer

If Heidi and Spencer are really getting married and if they really registered at Crate & Barrel on last night's episode, how come I can't find their registry on the Crate & Barrel website? Do you think they have a showmance?

Oprah: What do you think is going on with Britney?
Justin: I don’t know, to be honest with you. I haven’t spoken to her in years. I mean, there’s no ill will—I have nothing but love for her. It’s funny because we dated each other at a time…wow, I haven’t talked about this in a long time. It’s interesting.
Oprah: But you’ve never talked about it to me, so it’s okay.
Justin: Hey, let’s get it in, girl.
Oprah: Let’s get it in.
Justin: We were teenagers, you know?
Oprah: Yes, famous teenagers.
Justin: I think that’s basically the best way to describe what happened to us. I think she’s a great person, and I don’t know her as well as I did …. What I do know about her is she has a huge heart, and she is a great person.

'07 VMA's

Let's talk the VMA's for a quick second. Did anyone catch them? Apparently, MTV won't be replaying the show millions times over this week as they have in the past. Luckily, I DVRed it and was, therefore, able to watch the whole thing in 40 minutes.

Britney Spears was a trainwreck. She should be really good at lip syncing by now but it sucked. She missed a bunch a words and did not look into it. Plus, she didn't dance as much as she had in the past and, on top of that, I think she missed a a few dance steps. RIP Britney's career. (I can't believe Justin used to date her.)

I refuse to believe that this is the best weave money can buy!


Chris Brown had a crazy performance (besides the fact that he lip synced)! His dancing was awesome! Justin even said that Chris Brown's performance made him (Justin) feel old.


Because the VMA's were at the Palms Casino, there were performances all over the hotel grounds. Justin had his own party/performance spot called "Southern Hospitality" with performances from T.I. and 50 cent. Fall Out boy had their own "spot" also but Justin's party/spot was much better (I'm not biased or anything). Since the award show was at various locations around the hotel, the show had a "different" feel to it. I'm not sure the world was ready for it.

As for Justin's performance/performances, he was amazing, as always.

Antichrist?

Those of you that watch "The Hills" probably are familiar with Heidi's evil "fiance", Spencer. There are many reason why I don't like this character...too many to mention. I think that people universally agree that he's a fame-hungry, sleazy, lying, cheating, slimy snake. Why does nice Heidi continue to date this loser? She had to of watched last season's episodes showing him flirting with other girls. Is she blinded by love or is she loving the spotlight and the face-time on TMZ.com? I can't figure her out.

High School Musical 1 & 2

I'm not sure how many of you have experience these disney channel tv musicals, but let me just tell you that we love them! The plots and songs of the musicals mirrors Grease but they have the cleanliness of an episode of Saved by the Bell. Last weekend High School Musical 2 came out and since then I have probably seen it around 6 times.

The best thing about this wholesome teeny musical is the actors who play the lead characters (Zac Efron and Vanessa Hugdens) are dating in real life. It makes their love that much more real...j/k.

Chloe and Conner have also memorized all the words to the first movie and they are working on the second. Conner knows the all the characters real names too. While we were in Boise last week, Grammy let him print one thing off the computer each day. Each day he would print out a full page head shot of one of the charters. Also, Dusty was trying to think of how the beginning of one of the songs goes so he asked me, "how does 'The Start of Something New' begin?". As I was trying to figure it out Conner says "living in my own word...". He's so clever.
