I love Pride Points

Do you have a peer recognition program at work? I sure do. All I have to do is nominate a coworker for Pride Points. I can nominate coworkers for helping me, for giving me good advice or really for doing anything for me that they don't technically get paid to do. Lately, I've received a lot of these Pride Points for participating in workshops and helping people with special projects.

Before we could only spend our points at the Boeing Store or the special "Pride Catalog". A few years ago the only thing cool that the catalog had was a toaster, beach towels, and basketballs. Now the catalog has some pretty awesome things like ipods, nitendo ds, movie tickets, blenders, and tents. Things like ipods require lots of points (around 300). A couple of months ago the catalog added gift cards. I've traded in almost all my points for Nordstrom gift cards. I couldn't be happier!

This is what I picked up last night at Nordstrom with my gift cards.

They are super comfy.

Super cute! I wish we had something like this for teachers...that would be awesome (especially since I feel like I spend a lot of my time doing things I don't get paid for). :) Congrats for being such a great co-worker!
