Where has the time gone!

I am a week an a half away of moving all of our stuff to our "new" house in Boise. The house is so close to being completely done.

We've (Dusty and his padres) completed:
-replacing every inch of flooring in the house
-adding lights in the kitchen and living room
-repainted the kitchen cabinets
-painted the inside of the house (including the ceiling)
-removed the wood stove and brick
-removed the spindled half-wall
-gutted the bathrooms (expect for baths) and installed new mirrors, vanities, etc.

List of things that will be done soon:
-add new base/door molding this weekend with the help of Chris.
-paint the bathrooms
-install hardware on kitchen cabinets
-replace lights throughout the entire house

I'm so proud and thankful for all the work that Dusty and his parents have done on this project. Every spare moment they've had they spent working on the house. What a fam! I'll put pictures of our home once we've moved in.

The 2 months living away from Dusty have gone by rather fast and, while I miss the heck out of him at times, the separation hasn't been as bad as I thought it'd be. I tried to fill my free time with hanging with friends, watching Big Brother (go Memphis!), doing church activities and packing. Hell, in the last week I went to the fair 3 times (free casting crowns and black crows tix, 8 scones and 2 halves of earthquake burger), I spent the day in Seattle watching the 3-day B-Can walk and shopping with Christy at U Village and have packed up our entire apartment (couple boxes to go).

Good luck with the move! I know how stressful packing and long distance can be. Can't wait to see pictures either!

Can't wait to see the house! We miss Dusty too. (You didn't even mention missing Gunner???)

I'm trying REALLY hard to be excited for you guys, but it's hard not to be sad for all of the great friends and family you're leaving behind. Good thing you have a guest room in your Boise house!!
