What happens in Vegas...

Andy called me around 6pm yesterday to tell me that flights to Vegas looked pretty free for both coming and going. Apparently this doesn't happen too often on the weekends because Vegas is a popular weekend destination. Dusty and I jumped at the chance to head to Vegas. Since Andy works for Alaska, we only had to pay taxes on the free flights. I had never been to Vegas before so I was especially excited. Our flight left a 9:30pm and we got into Vegas around midnight.

We started out at the MGM Grand and then proceeded to walk the strip and check out all the cool hotels/casinos. My favorite was the Bellagio because it was so nice inside. We hit up a couple of tables and slots but we didn't waste too much time with that gamblin' stuff. We had things to see! We grooved to a couple of killer cover bands and people watched on the strip while walking from place to place. Awesome time.

We boarded a flight back to Seattle this morning and was back home in bed by 11am. What a night!

Wait, you went from Friday night until early Saturday? I'm confused. Looks like a ton of fun and I want Andy to call us up next time. The five of us would have a great time. Looks like fun!

Did Dusty wear a "Jesse and the Rippers" t-shirt to Vegas?? If so, I love it... :)

P.S. Do as MUCH of this stuff as possible before adding kids to the mix. We'd never make it to Vegas and back that quickly!! (We barely make it to the grocery store and back that quickly!! :)

Jealous! Enjoy these times my friend, before children!
We went on a date on Friday and came home by 10 and went straight to bed.
